Due to little free time, I am no longer helping women create their own bellymasks however I do sell detailed do-it-yourself directions with step by step photographs. I have trained Krysteen Lamonaco to provide this service which complements extremely well with her talent as a henna artist. You can read more about her and her work by clicking here.

Inspirational Ideas

Some women choose to decorate their bellymasks while others don't. Paint, tissue paper, sequins, journal entries, and photos may be used. The ideas are endless! Bellymasks have been displayed in the baby's room, walk-in closets, above mantles, in dining rooms, offices, and playrooms. Display your sculpture where you'll enjoy it the most!

Quotes

Bellymask amongst a collage of birth mementos"This is such a meaningful way to capture the mystery, magic, and miracle of pregnancy and birth. I didn't realize how beautiful my belly and breasts were until I had this sculpture. The physical experience of bellymasking made me feel like I was at a day spa." - Lissa, Mother of Augustus

"It's a wonderful reminder of the gift women have of being able to be pregnant and give birth. I love it!" - Rita Mother of Tristan

"I really enjoyed celebrating my pregnancy with the bellymask. It's in our bedroom and every time I look at it I look down at Duncan and I am amazed that the life in my arms was once a part of me. Photographs of me during pregnancy are nice, but the belly mask conveys to me how it felt to have him inside me. I encourage all pregnant women to do this!" - Margaret, Mother of Duncan
