Julie paints her bellymask a rusty orange color to complement the colors in her family room, where the mask will hang. She is cutting out and adhering a photocopy of a black and white photograph ofher pregnant with her two older children. Around the photograph she is adhering designs cut from decorative paper.

Julie made a copy of one of the professional photographs taken of her during pregnancy. She cut it out and shellacked it on to the belly. She collected decorative papers in colors that she liked and cut out the images. She started decorating the bellymask by painting it in a color that would compliment the room color where she plans to hang it.
